404 skill is built so most pages can be served and played without ever knowing who you are. Here is exactly what is collected, what is not, and how to turn it off.
What is collected
Game progress in your browser. Some games (Wordle, 2048, Connect 4, Snake, and a few others) save settings, statistics, or high scores to your browser'slocalStorageso a refresh does not lose your run. That data never leaves your device. Clear your browser storage to reset it.
Server logs.The hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps short-lived request logs for operational and abuse-prevention purposes. These include IP address and user-agent and are retained per Cloudflare's default policy.
What is not collected
- · No accounts, no sign-ups, no email list.
- · No analytics of our own — no page-view tracking, no fingerprint, no behavioral profile across visits.
- · No selling of your personal data by us to third parties.
- · No data collection beyond what the third parties named above (Cloudflare) collect to do their job.
How to opt out
To remove locally stored game progress, clear site data for 404skill.com in your browser's privacy settings.
