How Floppy Bird works,
in short.
- Step 01
Tap to flap; gravity does the rest.
The bird is always falling. Each tap on the board — or a press of Space, Enter, the up arrow, or W — gives it one upward flap. Stop tapping and it drifts back down, so you fly in little hops.
- Step 02
Thread the gap in each pipe.
Pipes scroll in from the right, each with one gap. Steer the bird through the gap. Touch a pipe or hit the ground and the run is over — bumping the ceiling just stops you rising, it isn't fatal.
- Step 03
Every pipe cleared is a point.
There's no finish line — each pipe you slip through adds one to your score, and the goal is to beat your own best. Easy, medium and hard set how wide the gaps are and how fast the pipes come.
