About the game

How Same Color works,
in short.

  1. Step 01

    Spot a group of touching same-color blocks.

    Blocks of the same color that sit side by side — connected up, down, left, or right (not diagonally) — form a group. A group must be at least two blocks to be removable.

  2. Step 02

    Tap once to select, tap again to clear it.

    The first tap highlights the whole connected group; a second tap on it removes every block in one go. Bigger groups are worth far more — clearing n blocks scores (n − 2)², so ten at once beats five pairs.

  3. Step 03

    Blocks fall, columns close up.

    After a clear, blocks above drop into the gap and any fully emptied column slides to the right. The round ends when no same-color neighbors remain — empty the whole board for a big bonus.
